Dimitris Liakos was born in Athens in 1972.
He studied at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus, from where he received his degree in 2001. He continued with postgraduate studies, where in 2005, he received a Master’s Degree from the Postgraduate Program in Business Administration from the Hellenic Society of Business Administration.
What followed is an extensive and illustrious carreer in Economics and on November 5, 2016, he was appointed Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, a position he held until July 9, 2019.
Currently he holds the position of Senior Management Advisor of the Strategy Division in Eurobank.
